...WE DO and so does GOD!!!   He says to you today...
"For God so loved the world (YOU), that He gave His only Son(Jesus);
that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life (eternally in Heaven)!"
John 3:16
To know God and be ready for Heaven, follow these steps:
A. Admit you are a sinner.
Ask God's forgiveness and repent of your sins.
"There is no one righteous, not even one.... for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
     Romans 3:10,23; 5:8; 6:23
B. Believe in Jesus.  (put your trust in Him) as your only hope of salvation
Become a child of God by receiving Christ.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish
but have eternal life."  John 3:16; 14:6
C. Confess that Jesus is your Lord.
"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead,

Pray for Your Leaders

Read 2 Thessalonians 1:1 through 3:18

Published: Oct 30, 2017

Throughout Scripture, believers are instructed to pray for their leaders: pastors, bosses, and government officials. Sometimes we neglect to pray for our leaders, or we pray for them in general terms: “Lord, please bless our pastor and strengthen his family.”

Paul asked the Thessalonians to pray for him—but not for blessings or material benefits. Instead, he asked that they pray for God’s kingdom to be advanced.

Pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you (2 Thessalonians 3:1).

Paul then asks them to pray specifically for deliverance from “wicked and evil men.” Paul knew that ministers need spiritual protection as they preach the gospel.

Today’s leaders need our prayers more than ever. The spread of the gospel is directly impacted by the prayers of God’s people. Bold, specific prayers will pave the way for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done.

Challenge for Today: Pray specific, kingdom-advancing prayers for your leaders today.
